2004 Wall Microclimate Analysis (Wall Signature) testing

Auckland City Council were implementing a revised assessment process for older homes applying for CCC. Auckland City Council required an understanding of what is happening behind actual walls and could a leak event be introduced and the wall response measured. No current wall construction kept RH below 80% during leak event. Conclusion was that the Vapour Pressure needs releasing to lower the Relative Humidity. These became known as ‘Case Studies’. Conducted by Ian Holyoake and Bryan Holyoake on April – July 04 on 5 selected houses
